Colonial Villa on olive grove with swimming pool

On an exceptionally large, ancient olive grove of 6,500 square meters (!) Is a beautiful colonial villa with a large private pool of 100 square meters. Around the pool are spacious terraces (approx. 300 m2) with a lounge area and shaded areas. The location is considered one of the most beautiful places in Lefkada. You can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea and the mountains on the mainland. When you have had enough of the sea view, turn around a bit and it looks like you are in Tuscany.

The villa has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the first floor is the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom. There is also a work space with a desk in this room.

This villa offers an unparalleled advantage over the other villas on Lefkada, namely…. "Complete privacy" because there is only one (invisible) exclusive villa next to you. A tropical style gallery is integrated into the villa layout and keeps the house cool in the summer. The pool is one hundred square meters in size, with a depth of 1.6 meters to 2.6 meters. This is a real swimming pool where you can easily swim laps with family or friends. There is also a diving board that you can safely dive from (hardly any pool in Lefkada offers that). The pool is surrounded by large terraces with a separate lounge area and plenty of shade. The pool is only visible from the villa. From the terraces around the villa you enter the ancient olive grove and at the entrance there is an original wood-pizza oven with a large barbecue and a separate dining area under a large shady tree.

The villa has a wrought iron double swing gate giving access to the driveway of approximately 80 meters to the villa. The villa has ample parking for three cars. Lately there is more and more interest to rent the villa for a longer period ... especially in the early and late season ... you can request the special rates.

The Villa: The villa is located 80 meters from a dead end to the village 500 meters away. The nearest beach is 1200 meters from the villa. The bus stops outside the gate twice a day. The island of Lefkada: Lefkada is a green and mountainous (up to 1160 meters) island and is part of the Ionian island complex west of the Greek mainland. It is located between the islands of Corfu and Kefalonia and is the only island with direct access via a pontoon bridge to and from the mainland. This means that you can easily travel to and from the nearby airport or visit the many interesting historical and tourist sites on the mainland. The island has a beautiful green (!) And unspoilt nature and attracts thousands of visitors every year, but thanks to strict building regulations, it has retained its space and authenticity. Most of the island falls under the European nature protection “Natura 2000”. The beautiful sandy or pebble beaches with crystal clear water are world famous and are an important reason for the increasingly flourishing quality tourism of Lefkada. The island of Lefkada is surrounded by a total of 24 islands, including the famous island of Scorpios, then owned by Aristotelis Onassis and Jacky Kennedy (the current owner is a well-known oligarch). In Lefkada you will find remarkable sights, churches and monasteries, picturesque settlements and on the mainland you can make beautiful trips to archaeological site and museums or even areas where wild bears still live.

    “Prachtige ligging met een schitterend uitzicht over de zee. Groot zwembad en veel ruimte om de villa. Mooie en zeer gezellige woning. Een hartelijk ontvangst door de gastheer en zijn vrouw. Ligging in een rustig omgeving. Binnen 10 minuten ben je bij de kleine haven. In de haven kan je voordelig een motorboot huren. In de omgeving liggen diverse eilanden met prachtige stranden.”
