The quiet location of our pisè-style farmhouse built in the 19th century offers a good starting point for exploring the surrounding area.

A wide range of historically interesting destinations can be found nearby.

- The cathedral city of Merseburg, former imperial palace in the Middle Ages, with castle and cathedral

- The Goethestadt Bad Lauchstädt with the historical spa facilities and the Goethetheater

- The solar observatory in Goseck, older than Stonehenge

- The Nebra ark, location of the sky disk, with exhibition

- In the wine-growing town of Freyburg, the Rotkäppchen sparkling wine cellar with the largest cuvée wine barrel in Germany from 1896.

For those interested in sports, there is a bike tour around Lake Geiseltal, currently the largest artificial lake in Germany.

On the varied tour around the lake, you can make a stop in the ostrich farm of the Weingut Reifert.

Part of the circular route  from Merseburg to Mücheln is part of the Jacobsweg.

In the neighboring town of Braunsbedra there is the Pfännerhall exhibition with archaeological finds from the lignite mine, which has existed here for 300 years.

In Neumark-Nord an equestrian farm invites you to find happiness ... "On horseback ..."

The apartment is on the ground floor and can be reached without steps or thresholds. The parking lot is directly behind the house.

You can expect a lovingly furnished apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. You will feel at home. The spacious eat-in kitchen in Mediterranean style offers every comfort. From the bright leather couch you can comfortably enjoy the view of the garden in the evening with a glass of regional wine or watch the TV program.

The country house kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven and ceramic hob. Kettle, toaster and coffee machine are available. You can roast and bake like at home or cook in the microwave in the kitchen.

The bedroom has a 1.90 m long box spring bed / double bed, a large four-door wardrobe and a desk chest of drawers.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a partition that can be folded away, turning it into a barrier-free shower.

The rooms are all equipped with underfloor heating. The towels are quickly dry and preheated on the wall heating element.

In the garden there is a seating area with sun protection available so that you can enjoy meals outside.

There is a lockable storage facility for your bicycles.

Departure: from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The keys are handed over personally on site. Please call 30 minutes before arrival.

Pets are not allowed.

A baby cot (free of charge) can be provided on request.
