A variety of nature experiences, sights and many excursion destinations await you here. It is only a stone's throw to Norway or Sweden. The crossing takes about 2 hours. Try your fishing luck at Uggerby Å or take a cutter out to Det Gule Rev. Get up early and experience the fascinating atmosphere at a fish auction in Hirtshals. Admire the exciting life in the North Sea in the many aquariums at the North Sea Museum. At the Ørnereservatet eagle reserve, you can observe the world's largest birds of prey up close, and at the Fun Park of an experimental farm, you'll get a glimpse of modern-day livestock farming.
