Köfels - a small and lovely mountain village with 50 inhabitants at about 1400 m above sea level, offering superb views of Ötztal's mountains, untouched nature and bracing Alpine climate which is especially recommended for allergy sufferers. An ideal starting point for walks, hikes and high Alpine peak tours directly from your doorstep.

In winter you reach the hut on a toboggan or you enjoy a ski mountaineering tour directly from the guesthouse. A free skibus takes you down to the valley and the major skiing centers of Sölden, Obergurgl or Hochoetz.

Our house is about 200 years old and features wood paneling in rustic rooms which have been preserved in its original form during recent renovation works. A large terrace with barbecue site and outdoor dining area, and a traditional inn in the immediate vicinity invite you to enjoy a hearty "Tirolean snack".

Our house is about 200 years old and features wood paneling in rustic rooms which have been preserved in its original form during recent renovation works, the entire roof was rebuilt as well. The rooms on the ground floor and on the first floor have been maintained but adapted to today's comfort.

Four spacious bedrooms are located on the upper floor. Living room with tiled stove, relaxation lounge, large kitchen (ceramic cooktop, baking oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, filter-coffee machine electric kettle, two bathrooms incl. shower/WC, ski storage room with boot-dryer.

In the attic there is a separate penthouse apartment sleeping 4-6 persons.

Outside: large terrace with barbecue site, huge garden offering stunning panoramic views just perfect to relax.

    “Toller Aufenthalt! Wir kommen wieder wenn möglich! Positiv: Die Ruhe!!! Die Lage im Ort! Der äußerst freundliche Vermieter! Auf jeden Wunsch & Anfrage bestmöglich reagiert! Top!!!! Toll renoviert vor ein paar Jahren und immer noch gut in Schuss! Draußen Sitzmöglichkeit überdacht & windgeschützt. Brötchen-Service wird angeboten. Tolles Haus einfach... Negativ: Die Matratzen waren sehr durchgelegen, da könnten mal neue her....”

    “Positiv: Alles hat super geklappt, wir werden mit Sicherheit noch mal dort hingehen !! Negativ: Das einzige was nicht optimal ist, die Terrasse hat eine etwas ungünstige unübersichtliche Stufe! Stolperfalle!
    Von neun Personen sind vier gestürzt, davon unsere Oma mit 80 Jahren!!
    die eigentlich noch Top Fit ist für ihr Alter. Das hätte Unglücklich ausgehen können!!
    Tipp: eine farbliche Markierung auf dem Boden würde da sehr gut gegen Stürze/stolpern helfen. Danke”

    “Positiv: Das haus ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet, bei absolut ruhiger Panoramalage, mit toller Sitzmöglichkeit überdacht am Haus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, bei sehr freundlicher Betreuung. Mehrere Wanderungen heben wir direkt vom Haus aus unternommen.
    Die Kachelöfen haben wir bei sehr warmem Wetter nicht beheizt, das muss aber toll sein und gibt dem Haus nochmal einen ganz besonderen Flair. Negativ: Das ältere Bad könnte vielleicht erneuert werden, und wie Herr Schöpf schon selbst überlegt hat, in das Obergeschoss verlegt werden.
    Bäder sind nur unter, nicht für ältere weniger mobile Leute. Aber das alte Haus ist nun mal so erhalten, wie es schon vor hundert Jahren war. Freizeit: Wandern in den Bergen, Gipfel ersteigen, die Auswahl ist groß und toll.
    In der Jausenstation, gleich nebenan im Edelweiß, kann man bei sehr freundlichen Gastgeber innen ganz toll essen”
