Lie in the sun with your favorite novel while your children have fun on the green area.

Take a walk to the beach, enjoy the sun and the sea to the fullest, you will also find good fishing opportunities nearby. On the glacial Odsherred headland you will feel like you are in a geopark. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses from the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the bog Trundholm Mose. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. Havnebyen is the only real fishing port with cutters and a small smokehouse.
