House Carolina liegt ganz in der Nähe von Porto Antico, einer Gegend voller Aktivitäten und Restaurants; Tatsächlich ist es möglich, das Aquarium zu besuchen, in den Panoramalift (Bigo) einzusteigen und den Palazzo San Giorgio zu bewundern, auf dessen Fassade der Heilige zu Pferd gemalt ist, während er einen riesigen Drachen tötet. Von dort aus können Sie zur Kathedrale von San Lorenzo, zum Palazzo Ducale und zur Via Garibaldi, einem Unesco-Weltkulturerbe, spazieren, an der Sie historische Gebäude, Museen und Residenzen alter genuesischer Adelsfamilien besichtigen können. Etwa 1 km entfernt befindet sich der Corso Italia, die Strandpromenade, die bis zur kleinen Bucht von Boccadasse reicht, die noch immer den Charme des alten Fischerdorfes bewahrt.
