The Herröknanäs nature reserve by Lake Misteln is home to centuries-old oak trees, rare animals and rich fauna, while the Putbergen nature reserve, which Carl von Linne visited in 1741, surprises with majestic 300-year-old pine trees. Right next to Solbacka is Dammhagen's swimming area for children and adults, with a sandy beach, jetties and a diving platform. It is also possible to hire a canoe for a trip on Kyrksjön.
