The extensive forest, which is under protection, is ideal for activities such as hiking, mountain biking and canoeing. In addition, you will also find a fishing lake (8 km), tennis courts and a public pool (10 km) in the vicinity. You can visit the Regional Nature Park Landes de Gascogne, located about a quarter of an hour away, and be transported back in time. The park houses the Écomusée de Marquèze which depicts the former way of life in the region. You can enjoy a ride on the historic train. You can also visit the large town of Mont-de-Marsan (28 km), the beach (62 km) and the city of Bordeaux (130 km), whose old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The nearest restaurant and supermarket are about 3 km away. The friendly landlord, who lives a few metres away from the house, will be happy to provide information on all tourist attractions in the area. You can also make use of his barbecue. The location of the house is ideally situated for exploring the Landes region.
