    “Der nächste Ort (St. Barthélemy) ist ca. zwei Kilometer entfernt. Dort befindet sich ein Bäcker. Sonst ist da nichts. Um richtig einkaufen zu können oder gar essen zu gehen, muss man schon ziemlich weit fahren (Miramont ca. 10 km, Marmande ca. 20 km). Aber das haben wir gerne in Kauf genommen. Leider kann jedoch die Bewertung zum Ort nicht positiv ausfallen.”

Das Anwesen liegt außerhalb jeden Ortes, der nächste Ort ist Labretonie, etwa 2 km entfernt und bietet außer einer Telefonzelle und einem Briefkasten sowie einer Ranch mit Pferden zum Reiten nichts. Aber wenn man dieses Haus aussucht, ist das mit dem Ort sicherlich auch nebensächlich. Die nächsten Orte mit Restaurant sind Seyches (10 Minuten) und Miramont de Guyenne (15 Minuten) entfernt. In Seyches nettes Restaurant (Au vieux porchon) mit gutem, günstigem Essen (Menu zu 11 Euro), in Miramont mehrere Restaurants u.a. einer Pizzeria (La Storia), die auch günstiges Menu (15 Euro) anbietet. In Miramont sind auch mehrere Supermärkte sowie ein Markt am Montag vormittag.”
